Overview Concrete5 makes running a website easy. Go to any page in your site, and a editing toolbar gives you all the controls you need to update your website. No intimidating manuals, no complicated administration interfaces - just point and click.

Features
  • WYSIWYG text editor
  • In-context editing toolbar – change your website as you surf!
  • Automatic navigations – add a page anywhere and it's updated everywhere
  • Preview your changes before publishing
  • Track versions, and compare differences between them
  • File manager with bulk upload and image manipulation using Picnik (Picnik integration in v5.3)
  • And much more
Reviews CMS almost as simple as it gets but powerful!

I tried Concrete5 over a year ago and gave up with it. A few weeks ago I tried it again, and have quite simply switched almost all of my sites over to it. I've also posted a couple of support messages, and have had quick, helpful responses within hours.

Great For Corporate Sites, but ...

for the siteops who do this 'gratis' the CMS is lacking a couple of things to make this work. They are available via expensive add-ons. Who pays for a forum add-on, anyways, when there is already a multitude of free forums out there. To be fair, the CMS is dead simple to install and to make changes. My only issue is the add-ons which should be included in the default package such as forums. There are plenty of other freebies that they have as add-on modules, to be fair.
